It would be the alarm ingly loud chime and ominous red triangled exclamation point that comes on while you’re driving to tell you to replace the cabin filter.

I’m the glad the car lets me know when the thing is clogged, but it could be more subtle about it. Having that pop up mid- journey is terrifying for the 3-5 seconds it takes me to realize why.

Still love it though.

Just replace/clean/reset the cabin filter. It should fix the problem.

I probably could have done with such a warning. Just replaced the original one in my car (it's 8 years old). It did not look or smell good...

I think I had done this maybe two years ago and the thing was just as horrid this time. I don’t want to know what 8 years looks like.

The filters start out white, the one I took out was black. Also a fair amount of leaves dropped out when I removed it. I'll be more vigilant in future haha.

My BMW makes a lid “gong” when you’re low on windshield wash.

It wouldn’t be so bad but it didn’t happen until the car has been running for awhile. So as your 5 miles down the road  going 60mph your car makes an alarming sound. The first time it was a bit scary

Basically what happened to me. The “BHWEEM” was alarming enough, then your eyes dart around the dash and see that light . “Shit! The hell does th*sees note on lcd dipslay*....Fuck you,  Lexus.”

That is the worst thing I’ve ever heard. I hate my traction control enough but if it also yelled at me I’d be pissed.
